A couple of weeks ago I wrote a guest post for the blog Biopolitical Philosophy. The blog, launched in 2019 by philosophers Shelley Tremain and Melinda Hall, “provides up-to-date information and cutting-edge critical analysis of biopolitical asymmetries and other mechanisms and effects of power in philosophy and beyond.” You can read more about its mission on it About page.
There’s a lot of great content on the blog, with a diversity of authors contributing. Shelley Tremain puts a great deal of energy into it, and has also been a great supporter of Vegan Practically since I launched it last spring. She has invited me to do articulate the philosophical relevance of my work on veganism, and the guest post two weeks ago introduces some of those ideas. Here it is. While you’re there, I encourage you to browse around at past content (after you’ve read my post :)).
